Computed Tomography Technologist - Travel Job

Become a vital part of a hospital team in Wilmington, NC as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and expertly operate CT equipment to support diagnostic and interventional care in an acute care setting.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years CT technologist experience.
• Completion of a JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program or equivalent education.
• Current ARRT (RT(R)(CT)) certification.
• BLS certification.
• Experience with inpatient, emergency department, teaching hospital, community hospital, adult ICU, Level II trauma, and comprehensive stroke protocols.
• Proficiency with PACS, contrast administration, and CT procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CT angiography, and multiplanar reconstruction.
• Experience working on GE CT systems.
• Ability to float to other facilities as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced certification (AART Advanced Cert.).
• Experience in outpatient settings, NICU/PICU, IV starts, phlebotomy, biopsies, aspirations, and drainages.
• Previous travel or variable-assignment experience. First-time travelers accepted if requirements are met.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 18:30 - 07:00.
• Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts per week; includes Friday, Saturday, Sunday night coverage.
• Call is required; no more than two 12-hour call shifts per month.
• Weekend requirement: every weekend.
• Float required to other facilities.
• RTO (report-to-work) within 7 days maximum.
