Service Advisor

Job Summary:Service Advisor is responsible for inspecting and determining repairs needed by visually inspecting a vehicle.Duties/Responsibilities:Examine damage to determine the extent of body, structural, mechanical, or interior damagePrepare estimates to repair vehicleExplain repair process to customersCommunicate with customers insurance related to damages and obtain repair authorizationComplete vehicle check-in with customerExplain and communicate repair process, estimated repair time and any updates with the customerHandle total loss processPerform final Quality Control inspectionUpon completion of repair work, deliver vehicle to customerComply with all TCC’s safety standards, guidelines, and proceduresPerform other related duties as assignedRequirements:Positive, friendly, and approachable demeanorExemplary customer service skillsExceptional multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.Excellent organizational skills.Exceptional verbal and written communication skillsMust be 18 years or olderValid Driver's LicenseEducation and Experience:Prior automotive collision estimating experienceExperience with preparing estimates in CCC One preferredProficient with a computer and softwarePhysical Requirements:Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.Must be able to lift 10 lbs. regularly.Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.Must be able to reach below and above shoulder level #J-18808-Ljbffr
