Electrical Engineer - High Voltage (HV) Bus Integration

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with experience in High Voltage (HV) Bus Systems to join our Energy Systems team. This role requires strong technical expertise, the ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects, and excellent coordination and communication skills. You will lead the integration of HV components into vehicle platforms and ensure successful delivery of system performance, safety, and quality targets.


Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the integration and coordination of Energy Systems sub-systems-including HV Battery, Thermal Systems, Charging, HV & LV Bus, and HV Safety-into the vehicle platform.
• Ensure all sub-systems meet vehicle-level performance metrics, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
• Manage and coordinate engineering tasks across the Energy Systems team, including organizing and driving weekly Energy Systems kickoff meetings and agenda development.
• Own the HV Bus Architecture, including all mechanical and electrical interfaces and requirements for HV components.
• Develop and maintain requirement documentation (specifications) for both HV and LV bus systems, and create the HV mechanization diagram.
• Collaborate with Functional Safety and HV Safety teams to define test plans and validate HV Bus functionality.
• Provide subject matter expertise on integrating Power Electronics into HV Bus systems.
• Participate in DFMEA reviews led by Systems Engineering to identify and mitigate risks.
• Support various work packages as needed throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Work within and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing Energy Systems team environment.
