Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Florence, Alabama. This role involves providing specialized maternal care within the postpartum unit of the healthcare provider. The ideal candidate will be scheduled for night shifts and have a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care for adult populations in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, minimum of 3 years of experience in labor and delivery or postpartum nursing, certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or ALS-Oncology Behavioral, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM), and Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with fetal monitoring and assessment, emergency response, postpartum care, and time management skills.
• Additional Information: Weekly orientation occurs on Mondays. Blocking scheduling options are available. The unit has nine beds with patient ratios of 1:1. The environment emphasizes adaptability, teamwork, attention to detail, stamina, strong communication skills, and empathy.
