JOB SUMMARY The Electrician position is responsible for providing general and preventive electrical maintenance on property related to, but not limited to, Ellis Park Racing Operations, as outlined below, in accordance with Ellis Park Racing & Gaming (the "Company") policies and procedures. This position is accountable for performing skilled maintenance tasks with a primary emphasis on electrical maintenance related to maintenance repairs, rehabilitation, and construction projects for buildings, equipment, and systems. This position is additionally responsible for, but not limited to, inspection of all electrical aspects of facilities while ensuring safety and compliance by following electrical code, manuals, specifications, schematics, and blueprints. The Electrician position will report directly to the Facilities Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Plans and performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, wiring specification codes, properties of various materials, and the principles of operation and application of equipment. Repairs, constructs, adjusts, modifies, installs, and services various types of electronic and electrical machinery and equipment throughout the property as required. Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit. Splice wires by stripping insulation from terminal leads, twisting or soldering wires together, and applying tape or terminal caps. Observe the functioning of installed equipment or systems to detect hazards and the need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement. Perform normal functions of Maintenance Technician when not performing electrical work. Special consideration will be given to candidates with valid electrical licenses or safety certifications. REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Licensed Journeymen must have 3+ years' of electrical experience Understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Use of hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, and precision instruments as well as power tools such as pneumatic wrenches, welding equipment, jacks, and hoists. Knowledge of frame carpentry for renovation projects is a plus Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license
