Position Summary

As a member of the Legal team, the Corporate Paralegal/Contract Specialist is responsible for supporting the efficient operation of the legal department through strong contract administration, records management, and legal process support. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment, demonstrates sound judgment, and consistently delivers high-quality work.

This full-time, contract position reports to the Deputy General Counsel and provides broad support across legal and compliance functions. The role requires independent thinking, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for all tasks in Juro (contract management software) including assigning out tasks to legal team members
• Manage the administration of Juro and legal FreshService and making sure all tasks are addressed quickly and efficiently
• Manage reporting of statistics on legal work in Juro
• Prepare initial drafts and reviews of contracts and other legal documents such as amendments to existing contracts, ranging from standard to highly complex, with a high degree of competence, knowledge, judgement and drafting skills, and coordinate attorney review and approval.
• Conduct legal issue identification, investigate factual issues, and analysis and legal risk assessment at a high para-professional level.
• Draft legal letters and responses.
• Respond to requests for information and documents from other departments seeking legal support and analysis.
• Provide support in transactional due diligence, including assisting in managing data rooms, analyzing documents, and preparing and organizing deal documentations for attorney review.
• Maintain library of pre-approved form documents, contract clauses, templates, and historical documents and/or revise material as needed or requested.
• Perform special projects and general administrative support for the Legal department.

Education & Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an in-house legal department or law firm.
• Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification required.
• Experience with contract review, contract administration, and transactional matters required.
• Experience with corporate governance, project management, and legal technology platforms preferred.
