Our growing manufacturing client is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist / Programmer to join their team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on and taking ownership of projects from programming and setup through production.
Responsibilities- Program, set up, and troubleshoot CNC machines
- Work with CNC mills and/or lathes
- Review blueprints and customer requirements
- Select tooling, fixtures, feeds, and speeds
- Perform prove-outs and process improvements
- Make machine offsets and program edits as needed
- Support production and help resolve machining issues
- Work closely with quality and manufacturing teams
- CNC programming and setup experience
- Strong machining background
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience with tooling, fixturing, and process troubleshooting
- CAD/CAM experience is a plus
- Experience with Fanuc, Haas, Okuma, Doosan, Makino, Brother, or similar controls is preferred
- Hands-on problem solver
- Self-motivated and dependable
- Someone who enjoys improving processes and taking ownership of their work
- Team player who can support both production and new job launches
