Company Description Evolution Behavioral Health Services provides trauma-informed, family-centered ABA therapy to support children in developing communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills in safe and empowering ways. The team partners closely with families to create individualized treatment plans rooted in evidence-based practices, collaboration, and compassionate care. Services may include in-home ABA therapy, parent training and family support, social and communication skill development, behavior reduction, emotional regulation support, and collaboration with schools and related providers. Role Description The Registered Behavioral Therapist is a full-time, on-site role based in Northern Virginia This role involves implementing ABA treatment plans, providing direct one-on-one therapy to children, and collecting accurate behavioral and skill acquisition data during sessions. The therapist will collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to adjust interventions, support behavior reduction strategies, and promote communication, social, and daily living skills. Daily responsibilities include maintaining clear documentation, communicating regularly with families about progress, and participating in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing training. The therapist is expected to uphold trauma-informed, family-centered practices and contribute to a supportive, respectful environment for children, families, and colleagues. Qualifications Strong foundation in Applied Behavior Analysis and Behavior Analysis, with the ability to implement evidence-based interventions. Background in Psychology or related fields, with understanding of child development and behavioral principles. Demonstrated Interpersonal Skills, including empathy, clear communication, and collaborative teamwork with families and colleagues. Experience Working With Children in therapeutic, educational, or caregiving settings, preferably with neurodivergent or behaviorally diverse populations. Relevant certification or registration as a behavioral therapist or RBT, or willingness to obtain credential within a specified timeframe. Ability to maintain accurate documentation, follow structured treatment plans, and respond calmly to challenging behaviors. Commitment to trauma-informed care, cultural humility, and supporting families with respect and sensitivity.
