Sigma Defense is seeking a Software Engineer I to augment the core team that develops and implements a variety of computer based products for our military customers. Requirements 1-3 years of experience with software engineering and development using Git-based tools Proficiency with C++, Python, and Bash scripting in a Linux operating environment Working knowledge of virtualization and containerization Math or physics background desired Interest and understanding of RF signals and radar technologies Must be a U.S. citizen Computer Programs/Software Linux C++ Python Bash Docker/Podman Git Personnel Clearance Level Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret clearance or higher Clearance may be sponsored for the right candidate Education Requirements Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study Job Responsibilities Support programs related to electronic warfare systems Work in a structured, multidisciplinary team environment Development of requirements and design specifications Implementation of developed system specifications, test plan, and procedure development System testing and installation support.
