Tool Assembly Technician

Tool Assembly Technician Location: Milford/Mariemont Shift: Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm Pay: $17/hr Temp to Hire Opportunity! Basic Function Assembling tools, sub-assemblies, kits and ensuring that all parts and components are assembled correctly and on time. Primary Responsibilities Maintain a safe working environment. Under the supervisor's direction, assemble tools, sub-assemblies, and kits according to the standardized worksheets. Testing, troubleshooting, and reporting potential problems of product. Communicate trends or repeated quality issues. Prepare and complete source documents for labor and inventory transactions. Follow step-by-step instructions to complete department tasks promptly. Complete any other job responsibilities. Have flexibility to work in all Tool Department areas. Qualifications Able to effectively communicate with co-workers, product managers, engineers, and quality technicians. Use of lift and hand trucks; training provided if needed. Must be able to work well in a team environment. Must be able to read and write. Must have a High School Diploma or the equivalent. Requirements Must be able to stand for 100%, lift 75%, and bend 50% of your entire shift. Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. Must be able to obtain daily production quota. Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and presses daily. Must be able to use both hands to maneuver and assemble small parts and tools. Must have at least one year of experience in an assembly line environment. Must have at least one year of mechanical experience. Must be able to follow standardized worksheets. Must be able to stay on task with minimum supervision. Depending on the company's needs, you must be able to work overtime and weekends when asked.
