Title: CNA / Nurse Assistant – Long Term Care (LTC)

Location: Newark, New York

Duration: 13 Weeks (High possibility of extension)

Schedule: Rotating Shifts
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend

Position Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced CNA / Nurse Assistant to provide compassionate patient care in a Long-Term Care setting. The ideal candidate will assist residents with activities of daily living, monitor patient conditions, and support the healthcare team in delivering quality care.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and hygiene care

• Assist with ambulation, transfers, repositioning, and mobility support

• Take and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respirations, and temperature

• Provide incontinence care and catheter care as needed

• Assist with specimen collection and transportation

• Monitor and report changes in patient condition

• Perform skin care and pressure injury prevention measures

• Assist with range of motion exercises and patient safety initiatives

• Operate equipment including wheelchairs, transfer belts, Hoyer lifts, specialty beds, and stretchers

• Follow infection control policies, isolation precautions, and PPE requirements

• Maintain clean patient environments and stock supplies as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of CNA / Nurse Assistant experience

• Long-Term Care (LTC) experience preferred

• Ability to perform direct patient care and mobility assistance

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Additional Information:

• Average Daily Census: 42

• First-Time Travelers Accepted

• Orientation will be conducted during daytime hours during the first week
