• Duration: Ongoing assignment
• Shift: 5x12-Hour shifts (07:00 – 19:00), in-house call shifts available (3-7 shifts/month, 12- or 24-hour options)
• Hours/week: Varies based on schedule
• Employment Type: Contract / Per Diem
• License/Certifications: Active Texas Medical License, Texas DEA, Board Certified
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of full-scope midwifery, recent first assist experience within the past 2 years

Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $85.22/hr

What You’ll Do:

• Provide full-scope midwifery care in a hospital setting, supporting women through labor, delivery, and postpartum periods
• Manage intrapartum, postpartum, and OB triage patients
• Support patients in labor and perform postpartum care
• Perform well-woman gynecologic exams across different life stages
• Act as First Assist during deliveries and procedures
• Document patient care using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with OB/GYN team and support Level III NICU needs as required
• Ensure patient safety and deliver compassionate, patient-centered care

What You Need:

• Active Texas Medical License and Texas DEA
• Minimum 2 years of recent full-scope midwifery experience
• At least 2 years of recent First Assist experience (within the past 2 years)
• Excellent clinical skills and ability to work in a dynamic hospital environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
