Musculoskeletal Radiologist Location: San Francisco, California Position Type: Full Time Subspecialty: Musculoskeletal Radiology The Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging is seeking a Musculoskeletal Radiologist for a faculty position. The selected candidate will be appointed at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the Clinical X, In Residence, or HS Clinical series depending on qualifications and interests. Responsibilities Provide clinical care in musculoskeletal imaging, primarily at UCSF’s Parnassus Campus (ACC building) and UCSF’s Orthopedic Institute at Mission Bay; may include work at other UCSF Health and UCSF‑affiliated sites. Supervise trainees and provide teaching to medical students, residents, and fellows in a top radiology training program. Engage in research and academic activities to build a strong scholarly portfolio. Qualifications MD degree (or equivalent) with eligibility to practice medicine in California. Completion of fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Radiology. Board certified (or eligible) by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or prepared to enter the ABR Alternate Pathway. Must meet all listed qualifications at the time of appointment. Compensation and Benefits The UCSF Department of Radiology & Biomedical Imaging offers highly competitive faculty salaries based on national benchmarks. Minimum base salary range for this position is $149,700–$393,200, with eligibility for additional compensation under the health sciences compensation plan.
