We also offer 401(k) with employer match and Flexible Spending Accounts.Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for ensuring timely month end close processing and financial statement review and distribution.Reviews bi-weekly labor reports, analyzes variances, and distributes to management.Performs monthly bank account reconciliations and various balance sheet account reconciliations.Prepares balance sheet account reconciliations and work papers for quarterly balance sheet reviews by accounting management.Assists department management in preparation for various auditsOther accounting projects and functions as assigned.Qualifications & Experience RequirementsA bachelor degree in accounting and previous accounting experience,Healthcare environment (long-term care) experience preferred.Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesMust be knowledgeable in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Must have the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrantMust be able to deal tactfully with team members and managersExcellent Excel skills are requiredWorkday experience a plusSuperior organizational skills, strong task management skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks.Also important are excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both internal and external customers and the ability to work in a team oriented environment.A positive attitude, with a high degree of ethics and personal integrity, as well as confidentiality, are needed to be successful in this role.About UsA family-owned company, we have grown to become one of the nation's largest providers of post-acute care, which includes skilled nursing rehabilitation centers, long-term care centers, assisted living communities, independent rehabilitation centers, and long-term acute care hospitals (LTACH).
