This individual should feel comfortable navigating through the grey area and formulating problems and recommendations./ppResponsibilities:/pulliDrive process improvements aligned to enterprise risk management objectives, including creation of new risk processes/liliLead or support projects specific to strategic alignment across risk identification, risk appetite, and metric processes/liliPerform analysis leveraging data and insights to define problems and identify solutions/liliLiaise activities across multiple teams to ensure alignment of priorities and strategies/liliSupport governance activities, including management of controls, audit, exams, and data governance/liliSupport reporting processes, including creation of executive level risk reports and presentation/liliCollaborate effectively with stakeholders and leaders across organization to achieve objectives/li/ulpBasic Qualifications:/pulliBachelors Degree or military experience/liliAt least 3 years of Risk Management experience/liliAt least 3 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal business partners/li/ulpPreferred Qualifications:/pulli4+ years of Risk Management experience/lili3+ years of Financial Services Risk Management experience/lili3+ years of Process Management experience/liliAbility to set direction, manage expectations and lead cross-functional projects/li/ulpAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position./ppThe minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked./ppMcLean, VA: $120,800 - $137,900 for Principal Risk SpecialistRichmond, VA: $109,900 - $125,400 for Principal Risk SpecialistRiverwoods, IL: $109,900 - $125,400 for Principal Risk Specialist/ppCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter./ppThis role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
