Machinist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machinist to set up, operate, and maintain precision machinery in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints, working with various metal materials, and using tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC equipment to produce high-quality parts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate manual and/or CNC machines to produce precision parts.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Measure and inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
• Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to resolve machining problems.
• Record production and inspection data accurately.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship preferred.
• Proven experience as a machinist or in a similar role.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Knowledge of metal properties and machining techniques.
• Familiarity with CNC programming is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
