Duration: 12+ months
Location: Goleta, CA (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $50 - $55/Hr
- Perform inspections on mechanical, electrical, and structural components to verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Conduct nondestructive testing (NDT), including:
- Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
- Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)
- Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT)
- Visual Inspection
- Dimensional Inspection
- Load Testing
- Perform close-tolerance dimensional inspections using precision measuring instruments.
- Review products and assemblies for conformance during manufacturing, assembly, overhaul, refueling, and repair activities.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements.
- Determine acceptance or rejection of inspected products based on quality requirements.
- Select appropriate measuring and inspection equipment for verification activities.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and nuclear industry quality standards.
- Exercise stop-work authority when quality or safety concerns could affect reactor plant operations.
