2 ND SHIFT YARD WORKER
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a 2nd shift Yard Worker for a company based in Clanton, AL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work hand in hand with railway ties, utility poles and machinery. This company offers a wide range of opportunities and is vastly growing with each day.
Pay Rate
$18.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
2nd : Monday through Thursday, some weekends 4 30pm until 3 00am.
Yard Worker Duties and Responsibilities
- Place and organize yard inventory while ensuring quality, appearance, identification, and accuracy.
- Load and unload products, set dunnage, band loads, tally inventory, and assist with shipping/receiving.
- Inspect inbound logs for compliance with company standards and document inbound loads.
- Grade, classify, and prepare ties/poles.
Yard Worker Qualifications and Requirements
- Extreme attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment
- Ability to understand and follow safety protocols and instructions to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy loads safely and efficiently.
- Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination to maneuver equipment in tight spaces and navigate busy warehouse environments.
