Job Summary
I am seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver with their own vehicle to join my team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely delivering packages and goods to various locations, ensuring timely and professional service. This role requires excellent customer service skills, familiarity with route driving, and the ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting and moving items. A background in warehouse operations or courier services is a plus. The position offers an opportunity to work independently while contributing to the company's reputation for dependable delivery service.

Job pays per how many boxes ($3.20 estimate) are delivered each day starting at 6am from the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate your own vehicle, such as a Mini Van or Courier Van, to deliver goods across designated routes.
• Load and unload packages using appropriate equipment like pallet jacks when necessary.
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of products to customers or clients while maintaining professional customer interactions.
• Follow planned routes efficiently, adjusting as needed for traffic or other delays.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of your vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with transportation regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation for each trip.
• Handle heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading, unloading, and moving items.

Skills

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving experience similar to Amazon Flex driver.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally with clients.
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
• Physical strength for heavy lifting and moving items regularly.
• Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving is preferred.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to loading, unloading, and transporting goods.
