Responsibilities Evaluate and underwrite new and renewal submissions within your assigned territory to ensure profitable growth. Bring our brand to life by ensuring consistent and impactful communication of our products and services to retail and wholesale brokers. Expand broker relationships, both by strengthening existing partnerships and intentionally cultivating new ones in key markets. Represent Argo Group in client and broker meetings, demonstrating expertise and elevating the customer experience. Build and manage a strong submission pipeline aligned with production goals and business mix targets. Leverage market insights, use your contacts to generate business, gather intelligence, and cross‑sell complementary products. Qualifications In‑depth knowledge of Excess Casualty, including product nuances, compliance, and risk management. Established wholesale broker relationships. Proficient negotiation and insurance underwriting skills. Adaptable and able to thrive within the ever‑evolving market. Sharp analytical skills to navigate financial statements and complex data. Significant broker communication, networking, and relationship‑building aptitude. Disciplined focus on execution, accuracy, and follow‑through with a sense of urgency. Outstanding organizational and time‑management talents. Compensation & Benefits The base salary range is $140,000 - $166,000 (based on experience).
