Base pay range $145,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr Salary Range $145K-$160K Position is full time onsite in Livermore, CA Travel may be approved and will be reimbursed at government per diem rate Must be a US Citizen to Apply Current Active or Recently Active Q Clearance Required Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Risk Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and execution of risk management activities across a large capital asset project. The ideal candidate will bring 5–10 years of experience in project management or project controls, with strong technical expertise in Primavera P6 and risk management tools and processes. This role plays a key part in ensuring that project teams anticipate, track, and mitigate risks effectively, aligning with federal project standards. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with project managers, control account managers, and schedulers to identify, assess, and document project risks and opportunities. Develop, implement, and maintain project risk registers, and ensure alignment with project baselines and performance metrics. Coordinate risk workshops and qualitative and quantitative risk assessments (QRAs), including Monte Carlo simulations where appropriate. Integrate risk data into schedules to evaluate impacts on milestones and critical path. Support development and implementation of risk response strategies and mitigation actions. Prepare and present risk status reports, dashboards, and risk analysis outputs to project stakeholders. Ensure compliance with risk management procedures in accordance with DOE O 413.3B or similar agency requirements. Provide continuous improvement recommendations to enhance risk processes and tools. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field. 5–10 years of experience in project management, project controls, or risk coordination roles on complex projects. Proficiency in Primavera P6 is required. Strong working knowledge of risk management methodologies and tools Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and integrated master scheduling. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience working in DOE, federal, or similarly regulated environments preferred. Preferred Skills: PMP, PMI-RMP, AACE CCP, or similar professional certification. Experience supporting DOE capital asset projects under DOE O 413.3B guidelines. Advanced Excel and data visualization/reporting capabilities. Experience with @Risk, Safran Risk, or similar software is a plus. Ability to carry out necessary tasks, independently minimal supervision. Excellent problem solving abilities.
