Job Title: RN - NeuroSurg Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ years License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care in a Neurosurgical unit. The unit focuses on the care of patients with stroke, seizures, MS, back/head/spinal, and other neurological diagnoses or neurosurgery procedures. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Description: This position involves providing nursing care to patients in a neurosurgical setting. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care. You will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team. The role requires attention to detail and a strong commitment to patient safety. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential. You will be responsible for maintaining a professional standard of care. Flexibility to respond to changing patient needs is important. You will be expected to adhere to policies and procedures.
