If you are passionate about patient care, enjoy working independently, and want to make a difference in your community, we want to hear from you!Why Join Seaport Scripps Home Health?Competitive hourly payCoverage area: Solana Beach to CoronadoComprehensive benefits package, including:Health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance401(k) with generous company matchPaid time off (PTO)Employee Assistance ProgramCritical illness benefitAs a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant, you will:Provide in-home physical therapy under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist and in accordance with the physician's Plan of Care (POC).Assist patients with mobility, strength, pain management, and range of motion exercises.Implement therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer activities, and prosthetic training.Utilize physical agents such as heat, cold, water, light, electricity, ultrasound, and massage.Educate patients on the use of assistive devices (wheelchairs, braces, crutches, canes, prosthetics).Monitor and report patient progress and changes in condition.QualificationsActive California PTA licenseMinimum 2 years of patient care experience (Home Health experience preferred)Current CPR certificationValid driver's license and reliable, insured vehicleStrong communication and organizational skillsAbout Seaport Scripps Home HealthWe are part of the Pennant Group, a nationwide network with 300+ locations.
