Job Description Job Description OEM, Inc. is seeking an experienced and dependable Welder to join our manufacturing team in San Antonio, Texas. This position requires proficiency in both MIG and TIG welding , as well as a creative mindset and strong aptitude for fabrication. Applicants should be comfortable performing both processes regularly, with TIG welding on aluminum being used more frequently in our day-to-day production. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and can reliably produce clean, consistent, high-quality welds. Please note: This is not an entry-level welding position. OEM, Inc. is seeking an experienced welder who can step into the role and contribute immediately with minimal training. Applicants should already be confident and proficient in both MIG and TIG welding (Aluminum Specifically) and have practical fabrication experience. Responsibilities Perform MIG and TIG welding as required for daily production Weld and fabricate components according to drawings, measurements, and specifications Produce clean, consistent, and structurally sound welds Fit, position, and assemble components prior to welding Measure and verify parts using common measuring tools Grind, clean, prep, and finish welded components when necessary Inspect completed work for accuracy, appearance, and quality Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely Maintain a clean and organized work area Work with other members of the manufacturing team to complete projects efficiently Follow company safety procedures and production standards Qualifications Proficiency in both MIG and TIG welding (Mild steel and Aluminum) Previous professional welding or fabrication experience required Ability to consistently produce clean and controlled welds Ability to read measurements and work from drawings or fabrication instructions Experience with common metal fabrication tools and equipment Good attention to detail and workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to safely lift, position, and handle materials commonly used in a fabrication environment \nCompany Description OEM, Inc. is an established engineering and manufacturing company with more than 46 years of experience designing, fabricating, and supporting specialized safety-testing instruments for the oil and gas industry.
