Customer Service Team Lead

Location: On-Site | Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
Compensation: Up to $85,000 base salary + bonus

We are seeking a hands-on Customer Service Team Lead to oversee daily customer service operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. This role will lead a customer service team, manage order processing, resolve customer issues, and work closely with Sales, Operations, Logistics, and Finance to ensure exceptional service and order accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support the customer service team.
• Oversee order entry, order management, returns, and customer inquiries.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex customer concerns.
• Coordinate with Sales, Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
• Maintain accurate customer and order information within ERP/CRM systems.
• Monitor service performance, track KPIs, and identify process improvements.
• Build strong customer relationships and ensure a high level of service satisfaction.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new team members.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service, order management, inside sales, or operations experience.
• Previous experience leading or mentoring a customer service team.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Experience with ERP/CRM systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Distribution, manufacturing, or chemical industry experience is a plus.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $38.00 per hour
