Registered Nurse (RN) Weekender – Med/Surg Float Pool, PT Days Work arrangement: Part‑time, 24 hours per week (2 12‑hour shifts) with holiday rotation. Location: Atrium Health’s Carolinas Medical Center (CMC) – flagship Level 1 Trauma, Magnet‑designated, transplant center, and academic medical teaching hospital serving the region. Position Overview Registered Nurse (RN) – weekender for Med/Surg Float Pool. Pay range: $38.20 – $57.30 per hour. Benefits eligible: Yes. Responsibilities Deliver high‑quality nursing care and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process. Use evidence‑based practice and clinical decision making to ensure safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Communicate compassionately and effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members and lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience. Qualifications Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program. Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the candidate practices. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association. Minimum six months of experience as a Registered Nurse.
