Job Requirements:

Accounting Clerk:

• Performs various accounting duties in the maintenance of accounting and financial records.
• Processes financial transactions, disbursements, and receipts either manually or by data processing, filing; and performs other duties as required.
• Processes invoices received for payment for two facilities. Creates various payment documents in eMARS procurement tracking system.
• Processes financial transactions, disbursements, and fund transfer requests.
• Reconciles activity received to activity invoiced by the vendors prior to payment.
• Assures correct coding of documents and makes corrections in accounting records and calculates adjustments.
• Assures all documentation is present to make payments. Enter documents for payment within 4 days of receipt.
• Attends all mandatory meetings and trainings. Completes all on-line trainings required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school graduate.
• Two years of accounting, bookkeeping, or fiscal clerical experience.
• Training in accounting, business administration, business educations, office administration, or a related field will substitute for required experience on a year-for year basis.
