Job Description
As the Lead Line Cook, you will be responsible for leading the line during service, maintaining high culinary standards, and supporting the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations. This position is ideal for an experienced cook who thrives in a fast-paced, professional kitchen and enjoys mentoring others.
Responsibilities
Lead and organize line operations during dinner service
Prepare and plate menu items with consistency and attention to detail
Ensure all food meets quality, presentation, and safety standards
Train and mentor line cooks and new team members
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation
Assist with prep, inventory, and station setup
Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
Follow all health department regulations and company standards
Support a positive, respectful, and team-oriented kitchen culture
Qualifications
3+ years of professional line cooking experience
Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety practices
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Reliable, punctual, and team-focused
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
