Accounts Payable Specialist 

• $24 - $25ph 
• 1st shift, Monday - Friday
• Located ONSITE in Manitowoc, WI 

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support day-to-day accounting operations. This position will be responsible for processing accounts payable transactions, maintaining accurate vendor records, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, process, and enter vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.

• Utilize OpenText and SAP to process and manage accounts payable transactions and supporting documentation.

• Verify invoice information, coding, approvals, and other financial data prior to processing.

• Prepare and process vendor payments, including checks, ACH payments, and virtual card transactions.

• Maintain accurate accounts payable records and monitor outstanding balances.

• Reconcile vendor statements and research invoice or payment discrepancies.

• Work with vendors and internal departments to resolve accounts payable questions and issues.

• Review and reconcile goods receipt/invoice receipt (GR/IR) activity to identify outstanding or unmatched transactions.

• Associate degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.

• Previous accounts payable or related accounting experience.

• OpenText experience strongly preferred.

• SAP experience strongly preferred.

• Experience processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and working with vendor payments.

• Comfortable working with numbers and performing routine accounting calculations.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines.
