The Opportunity

FirstCall Claims is building a small team of serious producers to represent property owners after major losses.

We are Public Insurance Adjusters — licensed professionals who work for the policyholder, not the insurance company. When a home or business suffers a major fire, storm, or water loss, we step in to make sure the property owner is treated fairly and recovers the full settlement they are owed for their loss under their policy.

This is a commission-only role, and we want to be upfront about that from the start. It is not a salaried position, and it is not for everyone. But for the right person, the earning potential is real and substantial. You are paid on the value you create, and we have built this role so that a strong closer can build a serious income here.

Just as importantly, you will not be doing it alone. We are investing heavily in the tools, leads, and support that help a producer succeed — because your success is how we grow.

What We Provide

This is not a “go find your own business from scratch” role. When you join FirstCall Claims, you get:

• Leads and lead sources. We generate and route leads to you and give you access to the referral channels and data sources we have already built — so your pipeline is fed from day one instead of cold-prospecting from zero.
• A defined territory. You own a market. You build relationships and a reputation in your area without competing against your own teammates.
• Tools that help you reach the right people. You have access to and will be trained on tools and systems to help you connect with property owners who may have recently experienced a loss — so more of your time goes to the people most likely to need your help.
• Training and ongoing support. You are supported throughout your time here, not left to figure it out alone. This includes our adjuster boot camp to help you get your Tennessee Public Adjuster license if you do not already hold one.
• Our team handles execution, not you. Once you secure the client, our adjusting team takes over the documentation, estimating, and negotiation with the client's insurance company. You focus on relationships, pipeline, and closing — the work you are best at — while we handle the file.

What You Will Do

• Reach out to property owners who may have had a recent loss (leads and sources provided) and confirm whether there is a real target claim to pursue.
• Build trust quickly and guide qualified owners into the claims process.
• Secure signed representation agreements.
• Coordinate initial documentation and site access.
• Hand the file off to the adjusting team and stay close to the client relationship.

• You are comfortable - and confident - working on a commission basis because you are confident in your ability to produce.
• You work independently and manage your own time and pipeline.
• You build trust quickly with everyday people, often in stressful moments.
• You stay composed and empathetic in high-stress situations — fires, major losses, emotional clients.
• You know how to ask for the business and close it.
• You are, or are willing to become a licensed Public Insurance Adjuster in Tennessee. (We will help you get there.)

You see yourself less as a “salesperson” and more as a trusted advisor who happens to be excellent at closing.

Who This Role Is Not For

In fairness to you and to us, this role probably is not the right fit if:

• You are looking for a base salary or a highly structured, closely managed environment.
• You have not carried a closing or quota-bearing role before.
• You are looking for a company to teach you how to sell from the ground up. (We will train you on our process, our industry, and licensing — but you should already know how to close.)

Experience

Required:

• A track record of closing and earning commission-based income.
• Comfort operating in a 1099 or commission-based environment.

Preferred:

• 5+ years of direct sales experience.
• Insurance or adjusting background.
• Construction-related sales experience.

Compensation

Commission-only, uncapped. Realistic first-year on-target earnings of $80,000–$150,000, with top producers earning $300,000+. Because we provide the leads, territory, and back-office support, a focused closer can ramp faster here than in most independent adjusting roles.
