Optometric Assistant

SEEK VISION OPTOMETRY

Job Description

We're looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated Optometric Assistant to join our growing private practice! If you enjoy working with people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are interested in healthcare, we'd love to meet you.

This position is Part-Time for 2 days/week and is an excellent opportunity for anyone considering a career in optometry or another healthcare profession.

Responsibilities

Welcome and check in patients
Assist with preliminary testing before eye exams
Help patients select and adjust eyewear
Schedule appointments and answer phone calls
Maintain a clean and organized office
Provide outstanding customer service
Assist the doctor and team with daily office operations

Eager to learn and grow

Qualifications

Prior experience in the optometry field is preferred, but not required
Customer service experience is a plus
Mandarin and/or Spanish speaking is strongly preferred, but not required.
Interest in healthcare or optometry is a bonus
