The Lobby Officer will serve as the first point of contact for tenants, visitors, vendors, and guests during overnight hours.Because of the high-profile nature of this property, professionalism in appearance, communication, conduct, and customer service is non-negotiable. The ideal candidate understands that working in a high-rise lobby requires more than simply maintaining a security presence—it requires the ability to represent the property and security company professionally during every interaction.Previous high-rise lobby, concierge, or Class A office security experience is highly desired.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain a professional, visible, and attentive security presence in the building lobbyGreet and assist tenants, visitors, vendors, and guests in a courteous and professional mannerMonitor and control lobby access in accordance with property proceduresVerify identification and follow visitor access and check-in proceduresProvide directions and general assistance to tenants and visitors when neededMonitor CCTV, access control systems, and lobby activityRespond promptly and professionally to security concerns, incidents, and service requestsMaintain a calm and professional demeanor when addressing difficult situationsCommunicate effectively with tenants, property management, vendors, and fellow security personnelComplete clear, accurate, and timely Daily Activity Reports and incident reports using company softwareEnforce property rules and security procedures consistently and professionallyMaintain a clean, organized, and professional security desk and lobby presenceRequirementsMinimum 1 year of professional security experiencePrevious high-rise lobby, concierge, or Class A office security experience is highly desiredMUST live within 20 miles of site – 77094High school diploma or equivalentValid driver's licenseReliable transportation to and from workExceptional verbal and written communication skillsStrong customer service skills and a professional approach to tenant and visitor interactionsProfessional appearance and demeanor at all timesAbility to remain alert, attentive, and engaged throughout the entire overnight shiftStrong judgment and ability to professionally de-escalate situations when necessaryAbility to follow detailed site procedures and security protocolsProfessional StandardsThis position requires an exceptionally high standard of professionalism.The selected candidate must:Maintain a polished and professional appearanceCommunicate clearly, respectfully, and confidentlyTreat tenants, visitors, vendors, and coworkers with courtesy and respectRemain professional and composed during challenging interactionsMaintain a visible and attentive presence at the lobby deskUnderstand that customer service is an essential part of the security roleConsistently represent the property and security company in a professional mannerAdditional Information / BenefitsBenefits: Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision InsuranceThis is a Part-Time positionRelocation is not required and travel is not requiredNumber of Openings for this position: 1 United Protective Services
