Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct occupational therapy interventions designed to restore and improve physical, social, and cognitive functions across patient groups.
- Assess patients’ functional abilities, set measurable goals, and document progress in coordination with the treatment team.
- Implement evidence-informed treatment plans, monitor progress, and adjust interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support comprehensive patient care and discharge planning.
- Provide patient and caregiver education on activities of daily living, adaptive equipment, and home exercise programs.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and case conferences.

Requirements
- Active California OT license or eligibility to practice in California.
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent per state requirements).
- Minimum 1 year of OT clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting (recommended for fast-paced environments).
- Ability to work effectively in a hospital setting and participate in interdisciplinary rounds.
- NBCOT certification preferred or in good standing where applicable.
- Strong communication, assessment, and documentation skills.
