Cost Accounting Manager

Cost Accounting Manager
Responsibilities:
- Working in a standard cost environment
- Implementing and/or controlling:
- Bills of material
- Shop floor control
- Routings
- Automated labor tracking
- Inventory valuation/control
- Labor & overhead rate analysis
- Product costing
- Variance analysis
- Financial reporting
- Coordination and management of costing system at multiple locations
- Traveling to other locations and corporate headquarters as required
- Directly managing multi-department process, including accounting, engineering, sales, manufacturing, purchasing
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5 + years of accounting/finance experience, with major emphasis on cost accounting, working in a standard cost environment.
- Ability to collaborate with, and take charge of a multi-person team.
- Work experience in a manufacturing company, preferably specializing in metal fabrication.
- Experience in industrial engineering desirable
