EFL Project Consultant (English Teacher) (83) Duration: 12-24 Months Region: Central Asia Skills / Passion: Education & Training Responsibilities Work with English as a Foreign Language teachers and staff to ensure mutual support and synergy, to ensure locals have the English skills to participate in international-level communication, relationships, education, commerce, and holistic development. You will be responsible to: ensure a valid and thorough planning process; create and foster relationships with government and education officials throughout the country; ensure plans, including exit strategies, are implemented; manage human resources; organise project, programmes and ISA placements effectively; write project funding proposals; ensure effective coordination with other projects and relevant organisations; ensure project protocols with the government are in place and are renewed; support local staff responsible for organising the EFL office operations; network with other English education organisations; search for openings suitable for EFL placements; lead project meetings; publicise EFL courses and recruit students; assist in developing special needs courses; oversee maintenance of EFL centre facilities; oversee teachers' schedule; manage the project's finances; prepare reports for supporting agencies; assist in responding to students' questions; train local staff in admin and management; and host project visitors. Qualifications Fluent in English, willing to learn the local language, strong organisational skills, experienced in managing a project in an international setting, proficient in various office computer programs. Enjoys bringing order and the ability to work without direct supervision. Some experience in the developing world, a learning attitude, a sense of humor, a pleasant personality, a servant heart, and will be a team player. Commitment to long-term continuity.
