Details Rural, remote hospital setting in Oregon Rehabilitation therapy unit focused on physical disability and general rehabilitation Schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts per week, Friday through Monday 40 hours per week 13-week contract Requirements Active Oregon OT license required (license required if applicable) Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an AAOTA-accredited program Current CPR/BLS certification required Valid Oregon driver's license required Knowledge of occupational therapy as it relates to physical disability, rehabilitation, general medicine, surgical, and mental health concepts DOB and SSN may be required for consideration Additional Information This facility is in a highly remote location — the nearest major airport (Reno, NV) is approximately 3.5–4 hours away; candidates should be fully prepared for and committed to this remote setting before applying Evaluates patients and plans, directs, or performs educational, vocational, and recreational therapeutic activities designed to restore maximum function Collaborates with patients' families and interdisciplinary health team members regarding patient abilities and goals Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills are essential in this collaborative care environment Rehabilitation certifications such as ASHA, CHT, or ACP Training may be relevant to this role American Traveler Job ID P-733010.
