Ambulatory Clinic Nurse - Digestive Health Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift We are seeking Ambulatory Registered Nurses (RNs) who are dedicated to providing exceptional care to those we serve at Loyola University Medical Center (LUMC) Ambulatory. What You Will Do Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ health status, including vital signs, medical history, and current symptoms, then develop and implement individualized care plans. Perform nurse triage, prioritizing patient care by evaluating urgency of conditions and determining appropriate next steps. Coordinate care and communicate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers to ensure effective treatment and follow‑ups. Provide education and support to patients and families about managing health conditions, medication, and lifestyle changes. Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records, including charting care, documenting interactions, and managing appointment scheduling and other administrative tasks. What You Will Need A diploma from an accredited nursing school (BSN or ADN). BLS certification, accredited by the American Heart Association, before hire. Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Illinois. 1‑2 years of prior experience in a clinical setting. Salary Range: $31.62 - $50.79 per hour This range may vary based on factors such as experience, education, licensure, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
