Caregiver for Elderly Family Member (Part-Time)

Schedule & Hours

• Days: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
• Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (9 hours per week)

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and respectful caregiver to assist an elderly family member with daily personal care and light household management. The ideal candidate brings dedicated, attentive care to ensure our family member remains comfortable, safe, and supported in their home environment.

Key Responsibilities

Personal Care & Support: Assist with morning routines, personal hygiene (including safe bathing guidance), dressing, and gentle mobility support around the house.

• Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to specific dietary needs and preferences.
• Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and tidy living space through basic household tasks, such as washing dishes, tidying common areas, sweeping, and managing laundry.
• Companionship & Safety: Provide attentive supervision, respectful conversation, and a steady presence to encourage mobility and maintain daily routines safely.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1+ year of professional or personal caregiving experience working with seniors.
• Core Skills: Hands-on experience with personal care assistance, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
• Safety Awareness: Solid understanding of patient safety practices, fall prevention, and mobility support.
• Personal Attributes: Strong work ethic, patience, independence, punctuality, and clear communication skills.
