Banquet Captain

The Ingleside Hotel and Conference Center is hiring an experienced Server/Trainer to lead food service at events in our ballrooms. This is a full-time position with day and evening hours based on events. Weekend availability is required. Wage $15/hr + gratuity. We offer a full benefits package including health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401k. Perks include discounted water park admission and pet insurance. Responsibilities Coordinate staff assignments, pace of service and teamwork. Assist in resolving guest concerns. Participate in room and buffet set up. Serve plated food or buffet style for breakfast meetings, luncheons, weddings, banquets, etc. Stand for the entire shift; lift and carry trays with 8-10 meals and serve them to guests; clear tables. Qualified applicants must be able to complete a pre-employment background check. The Ingleside Hotel is a drug-free workplace.
