Teacher

We don't need a Teacher who knows everything, just one who knows Self-Motivation and isn't afraid of Seesaw, here at Valero Energy. A $39,000 - $62,000 Teacher role for a self-starter who wants ownership, collaboration, and a genuine path forward.

Key Responsibilities

• Hand off Self-Motivation work clean enough that nobody has to ask twice
• Earn the trust to make fiercely-supportive judgment calls without a committee
• Own the follow-through after the general meeting ends
• Tie general effort back to a number Valero Energy cares about
• Onboard, mentor, and guide newer team members when called upon

What You'll Bring

• Comfort owning the unglamorous middle of a remote project
• Proven follow-through, measured in shipped things rather than good intentions
• Sharp organizational skills and an ability to juggle multiple workstreams
• The instinct to ask "what would change your mind?" before debating
• An eye for the design-led detail that separates fine from finished
• At least 1 years building expertise within the general space

The story of Valero Energy is really the story of Sioux Falls, SD betting on a hands-on idea about general and being proven right. Candid, kind feedback is part of the job, and we coach toward growth rather than blame.

You join at $39,000 - $62,000, grow with a mentor, lean on benefits, and flex your hours so Sioux Falls fits work instead of the reverse.

Just re-listed with today's date, the general role is fully active.
