Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

Location: Sanford, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Nights, 19:00 - 07:00, with weekly guaranteed hours of 36.

Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients in the Labor & Delivery department. The RN will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and fetal heart rates.
• Assist in labor management and delivery procedures.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must have 1-2 years of experience in Women's Services.
• Current RN license to practice in North Carolina.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI/HWC/MAB, AWHONN, NRP, and PALS.
