Heat Treat Operator

Locations: Berlin & Manchester, CT
Pay: $20.00 – $24.00/hour (DOE)
Shifts: 1st & 2nd Shift Available

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Heat Treat Operator to join a growing manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role working with industrial furnace systems and production processes where precision, consistency, and safety are key.

You’ll be responsible for operating heat treat equipment, monitoring critical process conditions, and ensuring parts meet strict quality standards before moving to the next stage of production.

What You’ll Do:
• Operate and monitor heat treating furnaces and related equipment
• Load and unload materials according to work instructions
• Track temperature, cycle times, quenching, and cooling processes
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections for quality compliance
• Complete production logs and maintain accurate documentation
• Conduct routine equipment checks and report issues
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

What We’re Looking For:
• Manufacturing, machine operation, or heat treat experience preferred
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Reliable attendance and safety mindset
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on feet for shift duration
