Our client, a leading organization in the financial industry, is seeking an Application Support Engineer to join their team. As an Application Support Engineer, you will be part of the Application Support Department supporting multi-regional teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive attitude.

Location: Chandler, AZ

Pay Range: Best in the Segment on W2

What's the Job?

• Monitor and manage multiple batch processes to ensure successful completion, investigating and resolving any issues that arise.
• Respond promptly to alerts, analyze issues, and implement resolutions to maintain system stability.
• Create and update support documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and process improvements.
• Manage incidents by documenting issues clearly, maintaining open communication, and following escalation procedures.
• Provide application support by troubleshooting and resolving user inquiries, researching root causes, and recommending preventative measures.

What's Needed?

• 3-5 years of experience in an application support role supporting client applications.
• Strong knowledge of Autosys, UNIX, and Shell scripting.
• Good understanding of SQL, Oracle or similar DBMS, and Hadoop.
• Ability to prioritize multiple concurrent issues and requests effectively.
• Quick learner with the motivation to continuously improve skills and environment.
