Essen Health Care is currently seeking physicians for our nursing homes in all five boroughs. Benefits Competitive salary Malpractice insurance, health insurance, dental, optical, life insurance Generous PTO Holidays 401(k) Pre-tax dollars for transit and parking Paid medical malpractice coverage Responsibilities Examine, diagnose, and treat patients Ensure fulfillment of Essen Health Care's commitment to quality care Diagnose and treat a variety of diseases in general practice Use medical instruments and equipment for patient examinations Collect, record, and maintain accurate patient information Document patient history, review of systems, examinations, medications, allergies, assessment and plan Order or execute tests, analyses, and diagnostic imaging Analyze reports and findings to diagnose conditions Administer or prescribe treatments Order laboratory and imaging tests to determine and manage an immediate treatment plan Vaccinate patients to protect against communicable diseases Advise patients on diet, hygiene, and disease prevention methods Consult with appropriate specialists when necessary; refer patients to subspecialists within the network Qualifications Medical degree conferred by an accredited college or university New York State licensure, board‑eligible and/or certified Demonstrated clinical excellence Nursing home experience strongly preferred Essen Health Care is an equal opportunity employer.
