Shifts: 8 hours - 1st shift 6am - 2:30pm, 2nd shift 2pm - 10:30pm, 3rd shift 10pm - 6:30am


Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in Peoria, IL. This role involves working in a Radiology department specializing in MRI, interacting with both outpatients and inpatients, including those from the Emergency Department. The assignment provides an opportunity to work in an acute care setting with advanced GE MRI scanners.

Key Responsibilities of the MRI Technologist

• Operate GE 1.5T and 3T MRI scanners for various imaging needs
• Assist in the care of outpatients, inpatients, and emergency department patients
• Adhere to MRI safety guidelines and protocols
• Initiate IVs for contrast administration
• Execute standard acquisition sequences for MRI scanning

Requirements of the MRI Technologist

• BLS certification (AHA)
• RTR MR certification (AMRIT not accepted)
• Expertise in using GE MRI scanners, 1.5T and 3T
• Proficiency in Epic EMR system
