Together, we create an environment where innovation thrives, safety is paramount, and every individual has the opportunity to make a lasting impact.Job DescriptionThe Senior Manager, Operational Communications leads the strategic direction, performance, and continued evolution of communications that support operational excellence, enterprise initiatives, technical functions, business transformation, and project execution.This role partners with operational leaders, corporate functions, regional teams, and executive stakeholders to translate complex priorities, processes, and technical subject matter into communication strategies that improve understanding, adoption, execution, and confidence.As the leader of the Operational Communications team, the Senior Manager establishes the vision, governance, capabilities, and operating model for operational storytelling, technical communications, change communication, PMO support, enterprise programs, and functional communications.The ideal candidate is an experienced communications and people leader who combines operational understanding, strategic judgment, business acumen, and consultative partnership with the ability to lead complex communication portfolios and develop high-performing teams. Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership and PlanningProvide strategic leadership in the planning, design, development, and deployment of campaigns.Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing and communication strategies that align with enterprise goals and regional initiatives.Oversee annual planning and refinement of the company marketing and communications playbook to align enterprise and regional goals with audience-driven priorities.Take ownership of tactical execution across key initiatives to reduce dependency on the Director while driving process improvements and workflow efficiencies across all disciplines.Collaboration with Executives and StakeholdersLead enterprise and executive communications strategy, portfolio priorities, governance, team performance and measurement to ensure alignment and execution excellence.Collaborate closely with executives and key stakeholders to uncover and shape meaningful business narratives.Develop platforms to drive expertise across key internal and external audiences.Translate high-level marketing plans into actionable regional campaigns.Content Creation, Review, and ManagementOversee the creation of content for digital and traditional platforms, serve as final reviewer for high-visibility collateral to ensure brand and editorial standards are met.Guide internal and external communications strategies to enhance employee engagement and information flow.Performance Tracking and AnalysisOversee key performance indicators (KPIs) and other mechanisms to track engagement and communication performance for all channels.Monitor and analyze campaign performance and market trends to inform future strategies.Relationship Building Establish and nurture strategic relationships within the broader communications ecosystem and adjacent areas of expertise (e.g., design, digital strategy, public affairs, brand, etc.) to strengthen collaboration, amplify impact, and stay informed of emerging trends.Team Leadership and Management Lead and manage a team fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, and serve as the day-to-day leader for the marketing and communications team, overseeing personnel management and guiding workload prioritization.Qualifications15 or more years of progressive experience in marketing and communications roles, including team leadership.Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and cross-functional teams.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills.Experience with digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and content management systems.Experience in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) or related industry preferred.Physical RequirementsLight Work.
