What You'll Do As a Medical Physicist you will provide clinical physics support for radiation oncology and neuroscience programs, apply your Gamma Knife expertise to support one of Central Virginia's most advanced neuroscience programs, collaborate with radiation oncologists, neurosurgeons, and interdisciplinary clinical teams to ensure safe and precise delivery of radiation treatments, perform quality assurance, dosimetry, treatment planning, and equipment calibration in accordance with regulatory and accreditation standards, contribute to the development and implementation of physics protocols and safety procedures, and support clinical research and innovation initiatives within the radiation oncology and neuroscience programs.
