We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead our accounting function, ensure financial integrity, and help build scalable processes that support a multi-site organization. Why Join Us? Opportunity to help shape and strengthen a growing organization High visibility role partnering directly with executive leadership Ability to build processes, improve systems, and drive change Collaborative and entrepreneurial environment Competitive compensation and benefits package What You'll Do Lead the month-end and year-end close process across multiple entities and locations Own the general ledger, including journal entries, accruals, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions Prepare and review consolidated and entity-level financial statements in accordance with GAAP Oversee cash management, bank reconciliations, and cash flow reporting Establish and maintain strong internal controls, accounting policies, and compliance processes Lead annual audits and partner with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners Manage federal, state, and local tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions Drive process improvements, automation, and accounting system optimization Partner with Finance, FP&A, and Operations leaders to provide accurate financial reporting and actionable insights Lead, develop, and mentor the accounting team, including offshore accounting support Support organizational growth through scalable accounting practices and financial discipline What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Public accounting experience and/or prior Controller or Assistant Controller experience 5+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience Experience owning the full month-end close process and financial statement preparation Multi-site and multi-state accounting experience Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting Advanced Excel skills Experience leading and developing teams Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with Sage or comparable ERP systems Experience supporting growing, multi-unit organizations Experience with acquisitions, integrations, or new location openings What You’ll Get Competitive pay (based on experience and location) Paid time off (PTO) and holiday pay Medical, dental, and vision benefits Option to purchase various voluntary insurance plans #J-18808-Ljbffr
