• Location: Oceanside, CA
• Start Date: 10/26/2026
• Duration: Minimum 1 year with extension options until 09/27/2027
• Shift: Monday - Friday, 0700-1600
• Hours/Week: 40 hours
• Employment Type: Full-time, W-2
• Licenses/Certifications: Active unrestricted Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years within the last 3 years as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker

• Pay Rate: $40.00/hour plus 11 Paid Federal Holidays ($41.60 blended rate) with additional $5.09/hr paid towards Health and Wellness Benefits up to 40 hours/week

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for diverse patient populations.
• Provide counseling and psychotherapy services to individuals, families, and groups.
• Coordinate referrals to community and government agencies for additional services.
• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to address mental health needs, including PTSD, TBI, and combat stress disorders.
• Offer consultation to healthcare providers on psychosocial issues affecting patient care and compliance.
• Participate in peer review, research, and professional development activities.
• Support patients dealing with domestic violence, abuse, and other social issues.

• Required:
  • Master’s degree in social work (MSW) from an accredited school (CSWE)
  • Active, unrestricted LCSW license
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the last 3 years as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker
• Preferred:
  • Experience working with military populations or trauma-related disorders
  • Knowledge of medical and mental health diagnoses and treatment modalities

This role involves providing mental health services at a military medical facility, supporting active-duty service members and their families. The position emphasizes independent assessment, treatment planning, and collaboration with medical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
