This position is located in Quakertown, PA 

We are seeking an experienced Site Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in all phases of site construction, including earthwork, utility installation, concrete, and paving for public, commercial, and residential projects. This position requires excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to develop accurate cost estimates that support competitive and profitable bids.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bid proposals for site construction projects.
• Review project plans, specifications, and geotechnical reports to determine scope and quantity takeoffs.
• Evaluate subcontractor and vendor quotes for accuracy and competitiveness.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure estimates align with project goals and constraints.
• Analyze labor, materials, and equipment costs to identify efficiencies and value-engineering opportunities.
• Maintain accurate cost data and historical records for future pricing reference.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an estimator in site or civil construction.
• Strong knowledge of earthwork, utilities, concrete, and paving for public works, commercial, and residential site development.
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, HCSS HeavyBid, or equivalent).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, civil drawings, and specifications.
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary range: $85,000 – $110,000, based on experience.
